National Park
Utah
We were blown away by the red rock formations, layers of golden sandstone, chimney pillars and canyons that make up Capitol Reef National Park. It's such an outrageously beautiful place that looks something out of a movie as it surrounds a wrinkle in the Earth known as the "Waterpocket Fold". Words really do not begin do serve this place justice - you'll have to see it for yourself.
It was an epic and easy stop along a cross country road trip and could easily be combined with a road trip to see Canyonlands, Arches, Glen Canyon, Bryce or Zion!
