We consider this place something of an adult waterpark with recreational activities for the whole family. The U.S. National Whitewater Center is the center used for training professional athletes in its one-of-a-kind recirculating artificial whitewater river, but this venue isn't only for professional athletes. The center offers a number of activities to choose from including zip lining, paddle boarding, mountain biking, yoga, ropes courses, ice skating, live music and of course, whitewater rafting. With a restaurant on site and frequent artists and musicians closing out the day, it's also a great place to bring a group of friends for a night out, plus it's dog friendly!
