Wow wow wowwwwweee we love North Cascades! Vast wilderness, glaciers, lakes, hiking, grizzly bears + gray wolves, oh my - this place has got it all and less than three hours from Seattle at that. North Cascades is simply breathtaking and an often overlooked Washington sight to see but one that we declare a necessity. We loved the hiking + crystal blue glacial lakes + mountainous valleys we experienced here and recommend a trip to explore the alpine peaks and cascading waters that the park has to offer. It is an easy drive from Seattle and is just as easily paired with a trip to nearby Lake Chelan or even a greater National Park road trip to Mount Rainier and Olympic National Park - regardless of how you get there, get there and enjoy every second of the mesmerizing beauty and fresh mountain air that North Cascades has to offer.
