We came here for sunset drinks on the lawn to celebrate our engagement [walk-ins only but we do recommend getting here a good bit before sunset to ensure seats] and we beamed with delight at the magic of the Inn Overlooking the ocean. As its name describes, the Inn is perfectly situated atop a grassy hill that gives way to some of the best views of the lighthouse and the bay that you can find. Free seating in Adirondack chairs and a walk-up bar allows you to really make the visit your own - we loved holding hands, sipping drinks and watching the sunset as dozens of sailboats with sun-drenched seafarers aboard made their way by. A truly magical experience that we recommend to anyone visiting Newport!
